Meet the team
Denis Treacy
Managing Director
Denis founded the company after the success of DP Treacy carpentry in 2005. With 40 years experience in the trade Denis prides himself on his involvement within all aspects of the business, and has a consistent healthy relationship with our valued clients and also their design teams. Denis never takes a backward approach and runs the business with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Andrew Giles
Director
Andrew has worked with Denis for over 20 years, with a similar timber trades background. Andrew is responsible for the buying amongst other roles such as estimating and pre construction planning. Andrew also gets involved at client level with tender and live projects and works alongside our clients to share his expertise of the industry and advise solutions when required.
Betty Treacy
Director
A much loved and founding director of DPT Ltd. Without Betty’s dedication to her family, DPT Ltd would not be here today.
Sadly Mrs Betty Treacy passed away suddenly in January 2021 from COVID-19. She will be forever missed.
Niamh Treacy
Director
Niamh joined the company in 2017 after a few years in the industry working for Tier 1 contractors. Niamh is responsible for a range of aspects of the business starting from pre contract negotiations to finalising decisions on both commercial and production fronts. Niamh also carries the company’s Q mark fire door installation and maintenance certification.
Noel
Contracts Manager
Noel joined the team following years of working with a specialist contractor based in heathrow airport. An Engineer by trade, Noel brings a particular attention to detail to the quality of work that we produce on site, and with plenty of experience working under demanding deadlines with almost unprecedented restrictions, his management skills allow us to facilitate a range of challenging projects.
Sam
Project Manager
Sam supports and leads our quality, safety, and management of operatives across all live projects. With a carpentry trade background, Sam is able to ensure that quality of all workmanship is managed efficiently and on time.
Ivan
Quantity Surveying
After completing a masters in project management at Sheffield Hallam university, Ivan began contracting for DPT in 2013. Ivan works on a number of contracts at a time for DPT and works alongside clients and suppliers to create drawings and schedules for live and tender projects.
George
Quantity Surveying
George joined DPT in 2020 after successfully completing a carpentry apprenticeship. He is now a trainee quantity surveyor and is studying a Bsc in Quantity Surveying.
Mary
Accounts
Mary has been working alongside Denis for since the founding of DPT in 2005, and ran the accounts for DP Treacy carpentry before DPT Ltd was established. Mary has been a crucial part of the business for many years and although she has chosen to remain involved only a part time basis she is still responsible for managing payments and accounts.
Adrianna
Accounts
Adrianna joined DPT in 2018 after achieving her 1st class honours degree at Brunel university in finance & accounting. She is responsible for the day to day running of accounts, wages and is involved in many other financial aspects of the daily running of the business.
Sarah
Accounts
Sarah manages some of the time-consuming processes which help the business run smoothly. From ensuring invoices are signed off on time for payment runs to organising company social events Sarah helps across all departments to help the team when needed.
Daniel
Workshop Manager
Daniel joined the team in 2021 coming from a carpentry & joinery trade background. Daniel has spent many years on production and installation fronts and now leads our workshop team.
Geoff
Workshop Foreman
Geoff has worked with Denis & Andrew for over 20 years. Geoff is involved in all projects and carries out production of all joinery elements which run through the workshop. Geoff is also responsible for a lot of our aftercare management.
