DPT's first project with Faithdean Plc was the old sorting house on Essex road. The ‘Old Sorting House’ offers a mixture of high-quality commercial office space. The works comprised of the sensitive refurbishment and extension to the former post office and warehouse building. The result of the completed scheme provides approximately 25,000 sq ft of prime modern office space combining period charm and contemporary style. DPT's scope of works was supply & install of factory finished fire doors, SELO metal riser doors, decking and bespoke vanity units made from Gluelam beam structural timber with glass back splashes and some laminate finishing. The bespoke cross laminate timber material was delivered from stora enso in Finland in full structural timber sheet size and manufactured in DPT's workshop.
