This project in East India Dock was secured on the back of the successful completion of its 'sister' building Anchorage House. The original contract was placed on the first and second fix carpentry works with fire door refurbishment and bespoke vanity units. DPT's contract order was then extended to include the bespoke glass screens which ran the full internal height of the building. Over 120 tonnes of glass, manufactured in Nenagh, southern Ireland was delivered to site and DPT site team fabricated the joinery frames on site to include a mild steel metal skirting detail. Special glass lifting equipment was purchased for this project and the team were sent on training, no glass was broken during this process!!
