Fleet services was a flagship project for GallifordTry and DPT received the project order with very little turnaround time. The external fire rated cladding was the bulk of the contract order, and consisted of Douglas Fir sawn timber, varied sizes range 150mm wide, 125mm wide, 100mm wide, 23mm. The installation had to be meticulously scheduled out to ensure minimum waste and accommodation of the different sized boards. Additional works to the contract included new internal and external fire door sets.
