Project Summary

This social housing block sits proudly roadside of the Warwick square development in kensington. As Grenfell tower was in the same district council, and the fire occurred during the construction of this block, there was particular scrutiny from fire inspectors and building control at the time of handover and completion. DPT were proud to receive no snags in relation to fire doors. The contract consisted of all second fix carpentry works including vanity units and doors, and external decking to the balconies. Towards the end of this project the site team became stuck with an internal logistical problem. DPT stepped up and took on the role of waste management for over 16 weeks to help the site team get to the finish line of a smoothly handed over project!
