This project was a negotiated contract with John SISK London office. SISK were contracted by Boeing to build a new airplane hanger land side at Gatwick airport. DPT's contract works consisted of general commercial fit out including fire doors, window boards skirting and the like. DPT also installed thrislington toilet cubicle systems and fit out for the changing facilities. This project was logistically challenging as there was no direct access to site. All access was via a bus service provided by SISK which ran from the train station. All operatives had to go through a rigorous induction process to comply with security requirements from the airport.
