Last month, we welcomed a student from Slough & Langley College into our accounts department as part of our commitment to supporting young people and our community.
During his time with us, Shayaan learned to manage phone inquiries, which enhanced his communication skills while assisting clients and suppliers. He also contributed to processing invoices and maintaining administrative records, gaining valuable insights into the importance of accuracy and organization in administration and bookkeeping. Through these essential tasks, Shayaan developed a keen understanding of the critical nature of attention to detail in accounting—skills that will be invaluable in their future financial career.
This experience not only equipped our placement student with practical skills but also fostered confidence and professional growth.
